UGANDA OIL AND GAS SECTOR: Companies must get prepared!

Ahead of the signing of key oil agreements between Uganda, Tanzania and oil companies, paving way for engineering, procurement and construction contracts to be awarded, the minister of Energy and mineral development Mary Goretti Kitutu, has urged all Uganda companies seeking to participate in Uganda’s oil sector to effectively ready themselves to supply goods and services to government and joint venture companies. Effective this year government expects to commence construction of the pipeline which will cost approximately 3.6 billion US dollars among other projects.
